Design Charge

A one off card lay up charge of £4.75 per card applies. If the same design is requested in different sizes then add £2.00 per additional size.  Postcards and business cards may incur a design charge - subject to site. There is no charge on repeat orders.

Proofs   

All proofs are charged at the card unit cost plus the postage.

Scanning or Photography

At Art2Card we use a top of the range Epson fine art scanner to ensure the best capture possible of your artwork, regardless of whether your image is to be used for a 6x4 card or large A3 fine art print. We will scan at the highest level required and keep your file on our system. 

  • To scan original artwork up to A3 is £5.00

  • To scan original artwork up to A2 is £10.00, this will involve scanning the image in two parts and digitally stitching the image together

Some images are not possible to scan due to size/medium so we will photograph your image - price on sight of artwork but in line with those above. Please see our useful information page for tips on digitalising your own artwork.

  • Scanning of original artwork is carried out at a nominal fee for the purpose of producing the printing of cards and fine art prints by Art2Card only. If you require a high res scan of your artwork then a minimum charge of £35.00 per scan will apply.

Postage

All postage and packing costs incurred for delivery, sending proofs and return of artwork will be added to the invoice at the current rates charged by the Post Office or our courier.  We will ensure the best deal for you. 

All parcels go out 2nd class unless requested.

Please Note:  If you send in your artwork by recorded or special delivery we will return it the same way unless notified otherwise.

An example breakdown of costs for printing two different designs for 6x4 cards (min print run of 36 for each design) with digital artwork supplied: all prices inc VAT

  • Card Lay Up £9.50 (x2 £4.75)

  • Proof and Post £2.46 (x2 .68p unit price of 6x4 card plus £1.10 1st class post)

  • Printing of cards £48.96 (2 x36 = 72x.68p - unit price of 6x4 card)

  • Mailing £3.49 (to one UK address via Royal Mail 2nd class)

Total for 72 cards of x2 different designs = £64.41 (inc VAT)

Please allow extra for scanning/photographing of artwork and return of original artwork.
